Rancho Sedona RV Park – Best for a Romantic Getaway

If you’re looking for privacy and tranquility in your RV camping experience, no place offers it better than the Rancho Sedona RV Park. Located close to the Sedona Arts Center, it offers some fantastic views.

Why I Like It

I love the wholesome RV camping experience Rancho Sedona provides. Don’t get me wrong, I enjoyed the scenery and unrivaled natural beauty of the location. But what really drew me in was the host of adventure, romantic, and casual activities one can participate in here.

This place is full of restaurants that serve delicious food. Moreover, it offers helicopter tours, hiking, shopping centers, spas – literally everything you could want as an RV camper. The cherry on top is the location of the park. You can experience the lively Sedona nightlife while camping at the park.

Most locations inside the park are pet-friendly, so you don’t have to worry about leaving your little friend with a neighbor when you take an RV trip. Its proximity to the main tourist strip of Sedona and facilities like laundry, clean bathrooms, full-hookup spot, and volleyball ball court make it one of the most sought-after RV parks in Sedona.

Other RV Parks in Sedona You Can Enjoy

Rancho Sedona is one of the most popular RV parks in the region because of its excellent facilities and unmatched views. But it’s often full, and you might not be able to secure a spot in time for your vacation. If that happens, here are some other Sedona RV Parks you can go to.

Munds Park RV Resort

The Munds Park RV Resort is a pet-friendly RV Park located close to landmarks like Oak Creek Canyon and Slide Rock State Park. This place is also full of greenery and picturesque landscape. While there, you can enjoy hikes at nearby trails like West Fork Oak Creek or dine with the family at the Table at Junipine, and more.

Zane Grey RV Resorts

If you’re looking for a comfortable, unique location to park your RV near Sedona Creek, Zane Grey RV Resort is a great option. It is located near Camp Verde and also offers cabin rental facilities.

One of the best aspects of this resort is that it’s not seasonal. So you can go there all year round for a phenomenal vacation. It’s clean, has lush foliage and excellent hiking trails nearby, is located on a mountain and has a great staff.

Flagstaff KOA

Flagstaff KOA is a gorgeous campground located near Arizona. It offers teepees for camping in addition to RV parking facilities. The mountainous location means you can access unique hiking trails, local flora and fauna sprawled across the area, and great weather. It has top-notch facilities, including bounce houses for kids, cabin rentals, tents, bunk beds, laundry and bathrooms, and more.

Conclusion

Rancho Sedona RV Park is the winner when it comes to Sedona RV Parks. However, it’s often very crowded and difficult to book. Securing a spot here can be especially tough in the vacation season or during official holidays. That’s why it’s always better to have alternatives ready.

Before planning your RV trip to Sedona, call every RV park I’ve suggested above and research their facilities well.  Book a spot in advance and if you’re looking to cancel, inform them as soon as possible.

That said, I hope you have a fantastic time exploring the rocky formations, marvelous valleys, and scenic spots of Sedona when you’re there.
