My family had a great time this weekend. RV was comfortable and worked out great. The pick up and drop off were easy and they worked with me on getting back as the traffic was much worse than expected heading back to town.

Everything went well except I feel like I overpaid. RV was listed and marketed for “dry camping” because of solar energy system. Anticipating Texas heat, I was drawn to the solar capability. Turns out RV did not have solar system and I was not told until pickup. I was mislead by both Outdoorsy and Chase as there were opportunities to make me aware of solar status.

DO NOT RENT FROM THIS GUY.
We rented the RV 10 days beforehand for the Formula 1 Race at austin, TX.
We traveled all the way from Miami with our hopes high for an amazing 4 day weekend, but thanks to people like Chance, that probably because of his name he left everything to chance...
The day we landed the nightmare started, he messaged us that the generator wasn't working, that the RV was at the mechanic (imagine 8 guys just landed an this Guy tells you that the RV is not ready) with 10 days to either cancel our rental so we could use another company.
Anyways, I attached all of the texts.
1- No Generator
2- No AC
3- No Water heater - We couldn't take a hot shower in 5 days.
4- Refrigerator wasnt working either, all of out groceries went bad.
5- RV was super dirty.
When we told him about this he said his assistant was going to come to fix the issues but they never showed up.
I honestly don't get it. Imagine having 10 days to let us know, prep the RV but no, this guy thought that he could get away with this. We paid +$500/ day for this crappy RV, now we want a FULL REFUND.We Escalated this to Outdoorsy.You had just ONE JOB CHANCE.SincerelySantiago Masdeu

Client was told the day before they picked up the rental that there was an issue with the on board generator(they didn’t respond), and we didn’t want to cancel on them last minute, so We provided an auxiliary generator for free to mitigate this issue with the unit.The person making this complaint didn’t actually stay in the RV. He rented it for a friend who seemed to have no issue when I communicated directly with that individual. The A/C did in fact work, it was working when Chance dropped it off, but doesn’t work if you don’t run the generator. The hot water heater worked just fine. The switch wasn’t flipped on.The unit not being ready is untrue, it was not on site right when they landed because we were delivering 20 units to the same race and there were some delays with traffic, which was communicated to the client.The refrigerator was an issue that popped up after we delivered it. It had worked just fine the week before on a previous rental, so we were unaware that something wasn’t working. That said we provided it yeti cooler with ice to help mitigate the issue with the refrigerator.I came out to help problem solve and fix issues as they came up three different times in a four-day weekend, along with my assistant. Client was onsite and seemed happy that we were able to come every time needed- even though, again, he was not the individual staying in the unit.I gave 20% and outdoorsy gave them 50% refund.

The host is very attentive to all i needed to know,he drove over 45 minutes each direction to make sure the a/c is working.

Great communication and support from hosts. RV is as described in the listing --- Froggy is a great small camper that won't require a huge towing vehicle. It can comfortably sleep 3 adults or 2 adults and 2 small children. It worked great for our needs.

It was a smooth process picking up and dropping off the camper, communication was great with quick response times, will definitely be renting again. Any issues we had were acknowledged.

Chance was super friendly and laid back. He helped us get everything hooked up and gave a good orientation of the rig. We had no problems with pick up, use, nor return. The rig was clean and he had it plugged in to cool the refrigerator and a/c for us before we picked it up, which was great considering the extreme heat we've had this summer. We would definitely use FunTime RV again!

This was our very first time using a camper. Chance was extremely helpful and responsive with any question we had during our adventure. The camper was exactly as described and so easy to pick up. Will definitely use again.

Some minor repairs were needed on interior. We avoided a major repair by by purchasing grease gun and repacking wheel bearing snd rigging up a substitute wheel bearing cover. Not sure an inexperienced RV traveler would have noticed this.

It was not cleaned well…qtip and barrette on the floor and we never got the water to work?? There was no sheets so make sure you bring your own everything!!
