I live in Kauai and have run vans here on Hawaii and in California for 10 years; I am a former Nat Geo producer who loves to travel the world and see all the glorious gifts nature has to offer by getting off the grid in Alaska, Kauai, Bali, Australia and more! I enjoy SCUBA, hiking and of course camping in California and Kauai...I own and operate a Dodge Ram Van custom painted by famous surf board / van mural artist Drew Brophy.

We had a great time and enjoyed Kauai. Stephanie is really is a really nice host. The car was strong and clean. Sleeping in it was no problem at all.

Hi All, this Campervan was so much fun! We did find different places to stay in Kauai. Each day we had different excursions that we were able to afford since we were saving money on a hotel room. Then at night we would travel to the next days excursion sight and stay somewhere nearby there. If all else fails we stayed in the parking lot of the US Coast Guard office in Kauai, at 3070 Waapa Rd A, Lihue, HI 96766. Here people were sleeping on the boats so lots of cars had people in them too. Either way you had to be a little creative and you had no issues finding a place to sleep.
Stephanie was kind and explained all the in's and out's of the vehicle to us. We also ate at some neat food joints. I can't wait to visit this island again and stay in the Napali one more time. My girlfriend and I loved it!

We had a wonderful time with Scoobee. It is a really popular van. A lot of people we stopping us to talk about it. Steph was an amazing host. She gave us a lot of ideas of places to visit. She was also really flexible with pick up and drop off

Kauai is amazing, we had had overall a wonderful time there. However, the island is not really van-friendly: it's not allowed to sleep in vehicles in the island's campgrounds.
The van is beautiful, however we found out the rear door doesn't lock during the check in and let the rain in which was unfortunate. We wish we had known beforehand.
The bed is also too small for tall people (around 5.9).
Finally, Stephanie was a little bit stressful, she repeated multiple times what we risked to pay if we had any problems with the van and it is not appropriate for Kauai, which made us feel restrained and quite stressed out.

Unbeatable experience with this van!! Stephanie was such a breeze to communicate with and very attentive. The exchange was easy and van drives just fine and has plenty of room. Would highly recommend renting Stephanie's snorkels and taking them to Poipu beaches to find some Sea turtles! We could not have had a better time.

Stephanie was an amazing host and we had an unreal time! Ourdoorsy is a bad app but Stephanie was super helpful. Her recommendations were great and video chatting while checking in was super helpful! Would love to do this again some time!

The owner was very communicative and helpful throughout the entire rental process and throughout the excursion. The van was clean, comfortable, and equipped with all of the necessary supplies. I would definitely rent this van again!
