We had a great time on our vacation. Renting the campervan from Terri was fantastic. The van itself was very clean and well stocked and Terri was always available and accommodating.

We've rented campervans several times and there's no doubt that Red Rover stands out as the best yet. There are an amazing number of nice features built in. The bathroom is the largest and best laid out we've seen. There's so much storage that we didn't begin to fill it all. The kitchen is a dream to work in.

Terri provides a van that is well equipped, very clean and beautifully presented. We had a wonderful four days away.

We had a great weekend and our hosts were fabulous. They went above and beyond in terms of making us comfortable, and the RV was in great shape. Our hosts were also great at communication and organization. They were also just great people who made a special weekend more special.

Terri and Joe's van was immaculate and very cozy and comfortable. I would absolutely rent from them again in the future. I highly recommend Red Rover!

The RV was offered as a premium, luxury experience at a cost of $850 for two days, accomodating no more than two adults. As we were driving from North Carolina to Vermont to pick up the unit, the host called us to say that neither the:
1. Hot water system or the
2. Heating system
would be operating properly. This was during a period where VT had just experienced almost two feet of snow. We had no choice but to take the unit the total eclipse on April 8 had booked al hotels within sixty miles of Burlington. In addition after taking receipt the large back door alarm at the dash board was on in "red" taking several hours to trouble shoot. Then the generator went down with well over half a tank of fuel still available. If I could rate less than one star I would have chosen it.

We appreciate your review and would like to explain the situation.
The camper had been buttoned up for the winter and in storage. When we took it out of storage, for whatever reason the heater decided to quit. We tried our hardest to navigate the issue with the manufacturer, but unfortunately the parts to fix it would not arrive in time for these guests.
We reached out to other RV rentals as well as hotels to see if they could accommodate these guests, since we were having issues with the van, but unfortunately everything was booked for the eclipse.
Under normal conditions, we would have canceled the reservation, but there were no other accommodations for these guests and we didn’t want to ruin their trip, so we found alternative solutions to make their trip happen by providing heaters.
In regards to the back door, everything needs to be out of the way in order for the door to shut properly.
In regards to the generator, it runs on gas and will not work or will turn off if there’s only a quarter of a tank which was clearly explained in person and in the guest manual.
Having said all this, we do absolutely understand the guests frustrations and did help them troubleshoot the issues as well as offer them a partial refund. The reality is, there are a lot of moving parts in vehicles like this. That is why we do an in-person walk-through to explain all the systems as well as have a guidebook on board.
Thank you, Terri
