I’ll start with the positive. The sprinter van came as expected with regard to what was included. It drove well, and our family of 4 made some great memories. Our kids loved sleeping in the pop-up top. They were also quick to respond to questions and communicated well. That being said, we paid extra for early pickup, and while the host was there on time, there was A LOT broken in the sprinter van. This required in the moment “fixing”, putting us quite a bit behind schedule. The ladder to the top bed was broken, which they taped together and told our kids “to just not use the bottom steps.” The table was broken (and filthy but they cleaned it when pointed out) and had to be bungee corded to the drivers seat to stay up while we were driving. One of the batteries was bad which required a 30 minute delay to get a new one put in. And none of the plug in outlets or the a/c panel in the back worked for the trip. While they did try to give us solutions, the only real fix was going to require us to go under the sprinter van, which we were not comfortable doing. The back bed does not lock in and has a one-two inch ledge that it rests on, so if you even barely move during the night, it will collapse. It was very clear that the van had not been inspected before our arrival to make sure it was “trip ready” which is frustrating when there is a mandatory $125 prep fee. SO overall, we made the most of the van. But for over $2k for less than a week long trip, I expected everything to be in working and clean order. (That $2k does include our choice to do the unlimited miles). I’d give them another chance, because stuff happens and their communication was good, but they really need to have their stuff in safe-working order at time of pickup.

Very good communication throughout even though we had an issue with the leveling jacks, but they did what they could to make things right which was much appreciated. RV was solid otherwise. Impressed by the bathroom size, water pressure, and hot water.

Had a great time renting this. Rick was super helpful when we picked it up. All my subsequent questions were answered quickly by them via the app. Super easy to work with. I would recommend and rent again. Thanks!

We rented the Thor Scope 18A. Both the pickup and drop-off (contactless) from the host (The Ride RV in Austin) was very smooth. Great communication and instructions. My wife and I and our dog went on a 6,000+ mile journey from Texas to the Grand Canyon; Santa Barbara; Bend, OR; Tacoma, WA; Coeur d'Alene, ID; White Fish, MT; Red Lodge, MT; Steamboat Springs, CO; Las Vegas, NM and back home to the Austin area. We found the van to be a little too small for the "3" of us. The bed in the back is too small for 2 people (and only supports 300 lbs?) so I had to sleep in the pop-up for the 30 day trip. Never again. At 73 yrs old, it was a little precarious going up and down the ladder each night/morning. That isn't the fault of either Outdoorsy or our host. It just wasn't the ideal floorplan for our needs. That said, practically everything else in the van worked flawlessly and our trip was really memorable. The only issue we had was with the BMPRO Touch Screen Control system. A couple of times it displayed what looked like a normal desktop computer screen (complete with a variety of app icons) and we had difficulty getting back to the BMPRO main screen. Once we did, all functions worked as expected (lights, awning, water pump, tank status, etc.). Thank you! We are already thinking about our next adventure!
