2010 Thor Motor Coach Four Winds Chateau
This RV sleeps up to 8 people. the queen in the back bedroom and the similar size bunk above the driver and passenger seats are the largest of the four sleeping areas. The dinette converts into a bed to sleep two and the jackknife couch folds down to sleep two. The coach battery supplies DC power for all your needs and is recharged by the engine, generator or shore power. Most of the appliances, such as Refrigerator/freezer, hot water heater, furnace and stove/oven operate on a combination of DC power and propane. The microwave and rooftop air requires the generator or shore power to operate.
the water pump and lights operate off the coach battery and you must recharge the coach battery every 1 or 2 days by driving, running the generator or plugging in. There is a freshwater tank onboard and also a gray water and black water tank on board. There is a shower and toilet and kitchen and bathroom sink.
This rv will keep you cozy and warm for your trip. Bring the groceries and go camping by the seaside watching the whales jump or the fisherman hauling in a half dozen fish.
It is great fun to tour Alaska and park wherever you want (Unless a sign prohibits overnight parking) or camp in one of the many scenic RV parks scattered around. Be sure to get reservations for camping or sightseeing activities as they will fill up.
