Wanda is a 2022 Solis Pocket camper van expertly crafted by Winnebago. Functional design with lots of storage makes this van the perfect pick for your next outdoor adventure. Featuring a Murphy bed to maximize space, a sink, outdoor shower, propane stove, ac for summer (requires electric hookup), a propane heating system to keep you warm when it's cold out, and screens for back and side doors that are adjustable (great to keep out bugs) while making entry and exit easy w/ magnetic closures. Wanda has room for three with the dinette conversion but is most comfortable for two. There is a seat belt in the back, but the back seat does not accommodate car seats. There's a portable toilet (a Thetford Porta Potti) for waste management. The compact size makes navigating urban areas a breeze if tailgating the big game is more your style, making this van ideal for travelers and campers alike.Wanda is an FWD vehicle and therefore not available for off-road use. We also ask you to keep Wanda away from festivals.
No smoking (or vaping) please. Any evidence of smoking will result in forfeiture of the entire security deposit.Preferred pick-up/drop-off is after 3 pm. These times can be flexible but must be coordinated with the host (and adjusted through the app's reservation change feature to ensure the change is communicated well in advance of your pick-up day) so we can accommodate (we both work full-time). Please plan at least an hour for both the pick-up and drop-off of Wanda. This ensures there is enough time to do a thorough walk-through of both the interior and exterior spaces. It's a good idea to familiarize yourself with the van and amenities included before pickup so we can answer any specific questions you have. On our Westbound cross-country drive, we explored many parks in Colorado, Utah, and Arizona before arriving in California. We bought our RV (Wanda the Wander Wagon) with hopes to explore more and make more of our everyday moments. While in California, Wanda took us to Joshua Tree, Sequoia, King's Cayon, and our local parks/campgrounds.
Since moving to VA our schedules have become more demanding of our time and we don't want Wanda to sit around while we're tending to our 9-5s. We're excited about this new chapter and can hardly wait to explore when our schedules allow. In the meantime, we want to share the van life experience with others.
