This older, high-mileage Subaru (Bunny) is generally reliable, strong, and good at high speeds, but might grumble on mountains. The comfortable rooftop tent and stocked kitchen were very helpful, though the refrigerator didn't work once.

5.0We had a great time! We named this car Bunny and she was an old lady with lots of personality, but she was also reliable and comfortable for the whole trip. She’s definitely got a lot of miles on her and likes to grumble a bit- that concerned us at first when we picked her up since we were headed to a remote area- but she settled down after a while and only made her displeasure known again when going up mountains. We found the rooftop tent comfortable and shockingly resilient- we had 40mph winds our first night and the tent stayed standing. Plus it was super easy to pop up and down so heading out for early morning hikes was very simple. The kitchen set up in the trunk was great, really had everything we needed to cook and keep our food fresh, even dishes and dish soap/sponges were provided, very appreciated! Overall, if you don’t mind a few quirks that come with an older car, this is a great camper set up with everything you need to have a fun and comfortable trip.

5.0Perfect set up for a first time solo camper like me. Joan was great! Car is high miles but strong. Took it to Valley of the Fire and Zion then back again. Would rent again!

5.0It's an older car with lots of miles but it got me everywhere I wanted to go for 9 days and did so safely. I had a great time exploring 3 national parks in Utah. Joan was easy to deal with and quick to respond to messages. The supplied camping gear was very helpful and made my trip a lot easier. Thank you Joan for a good experience!

4.0Car was great and suited our needs. Roof top tent was comfortable and camping supplies provided were very helpful! Host was responsive and good with communication. The only negative was that the “refrigerator” would not work. We ended up just using it as a cooler and buying ice. Host was apologetic. We would’ve preferred a regular cooler just to have more space for food.
