2002 Ford E350 Box Van
This van was purchased from a friend who lived in it full time. The van drives great in all weather conditions. We have had it up I-70 in bad snow days. The gas mileage is good for a conversion van. Lots of storage available for those longer trips. Cosa è inclusoLinens, camping chairs if needed, awning and Bike rack. Pots and pans, pillows, Jump cables, tire chainsRaccomandazioniI like to visit the Breckenridge, Keystone, Vail, Winterpark and Beaver Creek ski resorts in the winter. During the summer, I frequent Lake Grandby, Lake McCaughnhey and Pueblo reservoir to go camping and fishing. Lots of great Hiking around Mt Antero and Buena Vista. I also like the mountain biking around Winterpark and Durango the best. Red Rocks amphitheater can be a lot of fun when you don't have to drive home. That is a great benefit to Ski Hill Steve. Please keep in mind, smoking must be done outside of the van.Altre cose di cui prendere notaSki Hill Steve was designed for fun and adventure. Feel free to bring your furry friends along with your on your adventure. It has all of the important amenities of an RV without the restrictive size. We’ve literally parallel parked it in downtown Denver during rush hour just to get chicken sandwiches at BirdCall. On other occasions we’ve explored rough dirt roads to get to remote camp sites with no issues. It literally drives like a car or sporty SUV. You’ll be surprised by it’s agile handling, easy maneuvering, and great MPG.
With an electric water pump and a self contained gray tank it can be used anywhere without the attention of an outdoor shower. The large refrigerator and freezer hold plenty of food and drinks without the need for ice. Lots of built in storage, LED lighting, tile flooring, and stylish quartz countertop make the interior useful as it is good looking. Stopping to sleep is as easy as jumping into the large bed that sleeps two adults with room to spare.
We're constantly working on the interior so don’t be surprised if it has additional features by the time you pick it up.
The van is equipped with the gasoline Triton 5.4Litre V8 engine. Given it’s size, it gets great fuel mileage compared to other vans and RV’s. The factory dash and rear air conditioning work great while driving on warm summer days. While the Maxxair Deluxe fan keeps it comfortable inside while camping. . All of the interior lights and appliances are powered by a 360ah battery bank that charges through solar power and while the engine is running.
Steve likes to keep moving, boondocking and dry camping are it's thing. Although it can stay at RV parks, there are no shore power hookups or sewer hookups like you would find on an RV. It's best use is in designated campgrounds, National Forests, BLM land, or anywhere overnight parking is permitted. If it is driven daily it'll stay charged up just fine with the refrigerator running and other appliances used sparingly.
