Dinger Van Rental – Diesel, Fully Renovated & Family-FriendlyDinger may have a few external dings and dents, but she runs amazing. This diesel van has over $18k invested in renovations and is an affordable, family-friendly option. While not a luxury sprinter, Dinger is designed for families and offers plenty of space and comfort. She comfortably sleeps 4 and has ample room for all your gear and adventures (please note, Dinger is not for off-road use). The factory-installed bench with proper seating was the starting point for the build, making it ideal for family trips.Our Story
Our family of 2 adults and 2 children has taken Dinger across the country multiple times, spending over 400 hours working on her renovation. Dinger may not be a $100,000 luxury van, but she’s fully functional and designed with family trips in mind.Versatile & Customizable
We’ve designed Dinger to be versatile and customizable, with reasonable add-ons for easy adjustments. Whether you’re transporting bikes, kayaks, skis, or other gear, Dinger can be configured to suit your needs.If you need something that isn’t listed, feel free to ask! We understand that traveling with kids can be both challenging and rewarding. That’s why Dinger is built for comfort and convenience. The front seats swivel to create a cozy dining area when parked.Winter-Ready Features
For colder weather, we’ve added a Honda generator, a small electric heater, and Van Essentials insulated window coverings. We frequently use the van for skiing and have tested this setup even in the coldest storms.Our winter kit includes:Rescue boards
Chains
Large shovel
Flares
SaltAdditionally, we’ve installed rugs in the main changing area to easily absorb snow.Pets

• Please be sure to add additional bedding/cooking/wash up so I know how to prepare the van.
• Our electric box/drink holder will be included between the seats.
• Cody and I are natives and an open book of local knowledge. I have hiked, biked, climbed and skied most of the surrounding mountains.
• Dinger comes with state park pass. Our 4 national parks are epic but our state parks are just as pretty and more open.
•Raccomandazioni• Winter camping in Colorado can be really fun. If you don’t like snow, then pick the eastern plains when it’s sunny or drive through to Moab/Western Slope. I can fit four bikes easily and six with some Tetris work.
• She’s great as a ski bum sleep near a resort especially if you can get there before a big snow. Winter Park has an overnight lot they don’t advertise.
• Her floors and ceiling aren’t insulated, just the header and walls. Bring warm clothes for winter camping.
• We do. include a generator for winter camping.

• Please be mindful how to store our only key. It will take awhile to sort if we loose the key. We have an Apple tag attached to ease this worry.
• Please consider driving with our additional front and rear cameras on. They will support both of us in the event of an accident. We see all sorts of shenanigans out on the open road. It’s a jungle out there. It’s great to have evidence when something goes crazy.
