The Solis Pocket is well-equipped for backcountry excursions, with a flexible interior, plenty of storage and extended-season camping capability, yet its compact design allows it to efficiently navigate urban areas.  Estimated to get 18 to 22 mpg highway, and only 18 feet long, the Pocket offers all of the comforts of home in an efficient van. The high platform Murphy+ bed (52″ x 75″) provides a comfortable night sleep for 2 adults while allowing enough space underneath for two bikes, with L-track mounted tie downs to hold gear in place.The Pocket galley offers functionality inside and outside the coach, with exterior table, stainless steel sink, two-burner cooktop and forward-facing refrigerator. Raising the Murphy+ bed reveals an extended countertop surface that's ideal for food prep or many other uses.The dinnette converts into a sofa or bed for a child and has one 3 point harness for driving. There is also an optional inflatable bed that sets up across the drivers and passenger seat for a child. There is a truma heating system for the cold nights and a coleman air conditioner for the warm nights.

We specialize in providing adventure camping vehicles ready to explore Oregon and the Pacific Northwest. We also offer a selection of vans in Phoenix, AZ to explore the southwest (Road Trip Arizona). Our vehicles come stocked with everything you will need for your road trip including bedding, cooking and kitchenware, cleaning supplies, maps, guide books, camp chairs and more. Our Portland OR. location is conveniently located 3 miles from the Portland International Airport and just a block from the light rail MAX station making it easy to get to and from the airport or just about anywhere in Portland. Our Phoenix location, is located at 5346 N. 91st ave in Glendale AZ about 20 minutes from Sky Harbor.

Our normal pick up time is 11am however special arrangements can be made to pick up anytime between 9am - 5 pm subject to availability. Please confirm a pick up time at least one week before your rental and make sure to let us know if you are going to be early or late. Rentals are based on a 24 hr rental period meaning the pick up and drop off times are the same. It is possible to extend your drop off time however we charge extra in 1/2 day increments.

if you’re on the fence about whether to use this outfit or not, I’m here to tell you that they are amazing. Vehicle was imperfect condition and had everything that the website promised. The team at road trip Oregon are really nice and super helpful. I can’t say enough good about them!

The folks at RTO are great to do business with. This is our second rental with them and both times their equipment has been in great shape. Last time we chose a Eurovan - which was great fun - but this time we chose the Solis Pocket as a step up. This is a terrific campervan. It ran great for us in the central Oregon hills and up and down the freeway. Very nice to cook in, eat meals and sit inside and play cards until late. Nice screen door on the slider door opening kept the bugs out. LOTS of space. We had a 10' kayak along the floor, room for an extra cooler and two inflatable paddleboards and gear for three of us. Off grid electric provides plenty of solar to keep the fridge cold 24//7. Very comfortable for three.
