We started this project to give others access to an inexpensive getaway from the city directly to nature. Fully equipped, but with no luxury. Ready to go camping!
We are an outdoorsy family from Vancouver, British Columbia. We love going camping and have already explored most of BC and Yukon.
Full Moon is an awesome Jeep Patriot with a Rooftop Tent ready for your adventures! It's perfect for 2 people looking to get out and about. Perfect weekender, even better for a long one.
It has everything you need to hit the road:
- Foldable Rooftop Tent (3cm high-density mattress) with a ladder that comfortably sleeps 2 (sleeping bags not included);
- 2 burner camping stove + 1 propane tank;
- 12V Power Station and 12V Dual-temp cooler/freezer (add-on)
- Cooking utensils + pots & pans + plates & bowls;

I booked this camper completely on a whim, as I knew I had a friend's wedding to attend in Vancouver, but I more than just a quick weekend out west and back. Basically, I was looking for an adventure. The idea of renting a campervan came to mind, and as I surfed the web I came across Sunshine Campervans on Outdoorsy. For some reason, this little Jeep spoke to me, and the price was right so I went for it.

We had a great time. Raphael’s jeep is perfect for a little getaway. It comes with everything you could need for camping (pots, mugs, cutlery etc), plus the extra additions ( salt, pepper, coffee) gives the extra touch.
Smooth drive, low on gas, and spacious interior.
Super friendly and communicative host.
Loved it! One of the highlights of our BC summer, will definitely be booking with Raphael again.

Such a great experience with Raphael’s camper van. It was our first time to camp in the BC, and we are not very experienced to camp neither. Plus it was our very last minute to book this camper van and the trip. Raphael wanted us to share his experience and gave some tips. The communication with him was super smooth and easy! We even texted few times during the trip, his response was very fast! Overall, the car and tent are well-maintained and clean. And the tent itself was also easy to set up. It was such a blast experience and I will definitely book again in the future!

We had an amazing experience with Raphael's car—Full Moon! The car itself is great to drive, clean, and spacious. It has everything you need, and Raphael organized everything neatly in easy-to-carry boxes—stove, cooking utensils and cutlery, fridge! And so much more. The fridge was particularly super helpful since we camped for three nights and did not have to deal with ice bags and melted ice later.

Raphael is an excellent host, so communicative and helpful and great to deal with. The jeep and the tent were ideal for a quick camping weekend away, and all of the additional extras he provided made it a more comfortable experience. Perfect for a couple of two friends. Would recommend to anyone!

The Jeep is awesome on gas! You will get around 9-10km/L (10-11L/100km).
Q.How do I operate the Rooftop Tent?
A.
I will show you everything you need to know when we meet for the handoff! The tent is super simple to open and close. It can easily be done by 1 person.
