Welcome to The Big Beluga! She is a 2023 Winnebago Solis 59P Campervan. This campervan has all of the essentials you will need for an enjoyable trip in Alaska. It sits and sleeps four with the queen mattress and high-roof sleeping area. The van is equipped with an indoor bathroom, sink, stove, water heater, and fridge. Denali National Park is a must-see for many and the Kenai Peninsula offers fun communities like Seward and Homer. These offer breathtaking views and great charters for halibut and salmon fishing. Hatchers Pass right in the Mat-Su Valley is a favorite of ours for hiking and blueberry picking in the late summer.Let us know what you are interested in doing and we would love to help you make plans by providing suggestions or advice.Altre cose di cui prendere notaDriver must be over 25 to qualify for rental and insurance coverage.The van will have a full tank of gas upon pick up. Please return it with a full tank. There will be a full tank of 6 gallons of propane. Please refill the propane tank upon return. Any required additional fuel will be charged to the renter as well as a service fee of $35.The cassette toilet will need to be regularly emptied by physically lifting the reservoir out of the van and roll it to be dumped into a toilet and then rinsed. Gray water from the shower and sink use must also be empty upon return.This is not an off-road vehicle. Keep the van on the paved highway system or packed gravel roads for a short distance if needed.Renters are expected to remove personal belongings and dispose of trash and gray water prior to drop-off to avoid a $35 cleaning fee.Pick-up time is 2:00pm and drop-off time is 11:00am. We will do our best to accommodate alternative times upon request.We expect our campervan to be returned to us in the same condition that you picked it up. Failure to do this will result in us retaining $500 of your security deposit.

Hi! We love enjoying fun adventures and activities in the outdoors and are excited to help you do the same in Alaska! We enjoy backpacking, camping, fishing, hiking, XC skiing, and exploring. We currently live in the Valley and would love to share any helpful information from our favorite hikes to restaurants. We are also very familiar with Seward, having lived there for a few years.

Loved renting from Jessica! She is easy to communicate with and answered questions promptly. The van was great, clean and in very good condition; it was well stocked with necessities (linens, towels, dishes, etc.) and even plenty of extras we didn't expect (coffee/tea, bug spray, paper products, even some extra snacks)! Jessica was flexible with us for pick up/drop off times and very willing to work with to accommodate our requests. Highly recommend a camper van for traveling Alaska and renting from Jessica was a great experience overall!

Our family of 4 had a wonderful time exploring a bit of Alaska in the Big Beluga. Our Denali plans got scrapped because a fire shut down the park but the camper van allowed us to easily plot a plan b, affording us flexibility, having everything we needed no matter where we ended up. Jessica was super helpful and responsive from my initial inquiry about the rental all the way through our drop off. She was very thorough during our pick up, going through everything we needed to know to operate and enjoy the van. Everything we needed was provided - bedding, towels, basic cleaning supplies, pots/dishes, bear spray, etc. and Jessica was flexible in accommodating our pick up and drop off plans. She made everything very easy for us which was greatly appreciated. Our kids loved the van too. We would recommend the Big Beluga to anyone wanting to get out and do some camping in Alaska. My husband and I had an amazing Alaskan adventure thanks to Jessica! We were able to check off so much on our Alaskan bucket list: seeing Mt. Denali, seeing wild animals, exploring the Kenai River, visiting Homer and looking for sea glass, doing a whale watching boat tour in Seward, finding local food and breweries. The convenience of having all of the amenities right there really made this potentially stressful list, that much more relaxing.

This was the absolute best rental experience we have had in Alaska!! Great communication, easy pick up, clean, well stocked vehicle. Jessica and John were excellent hosts and answered all our questions.
