Explore life in this amazing Coleman Lantern Travel Trailer, or as we call it Captain Carter. Fully stocked for up to 8 people. Just bring food and clothes! The Captain will help you enjoy and explore comfortably with its power awning and other great amenities.Wake up each morning and enjoy a warm cup of coffee from our easy Keurig. Cook a delicious breakfast using the outside kitchen or inside on the gas range using the provided pans, while keeping food and other essentials fresh in the refrigerator and pantry. Feel at home as you visit around the dinette and enjoy your meal using the provided plates, bowls, and silverware. Easily clean up with the provided dish soap, scrubby, and hot water in the kitchen sink.Spend the day exploring or relax and enjoy the outdoors with the included camp chairs. Wind down around an outdoor fire while making S'mores or at the dinette and enjoy the included games together. Then let Captain Carter keep you cozy as you sleep in the queen bed, bunk beds that sleep 2 small children or 1 teen/adult, converting dinette or fold down couch for a comfortable nights sleep.The Captain has lots of extra storage space for your belongings. Storage under the dinette seat is easily accessible by lifting the seat. More storage space is also available under the queen and bottom bunk bed.Upon arrival, we will do a full walk through and operating assessment together so you understand how Captain Carter operates. Checklists and instructions are also provided. Captain Carter is cleaned and sanitized before your arrival and includes cleaning supplies for your use. -If you are having the trailer delivered you are still responsible to have the trailer cleaned out. If this is not possible please contact us so that we can work it out before hand.
-The batteries will only last about 24 hours without being charged so you will need a generator or to be plugged in to get all the benefits of the electricity. The air conditioning and plugs will not run on the batteries. The fan will run on the air conditioner but will not get cold unless you are plugged in or generator powered. The fridge is electric only and does run off the batteries and while plugged in or generator powered.
-If the vehicle does not have anti-sway on it already it is required that you select the Anti-Sway Hitch from the option fees to help keep Captain Carter in good standing condition.
If towing, your vehicle must have a:
-Minimum towing capacity of 6700 lbs.
-Hitch weight capacity of at least 863 lbs.
-7-pin round type connection
-Electric brake controller installed and operating

We are a fun-loving couple transitioning into empty nesthood. We love hosting ANYTHING! There's always an excuse for a BBQ or party when we're around. We figure we host all the things at home why not continue that on the road. We definitely don't have the time to do all the camping we want but we know you'll enjoy our rig as much as we do.

TJ was great at communicating with us. Was willing to work with us on an earlier pickup. He walked through the trailer with us and pointed out items known to him. Very easy to work with and the rig was great. We did dry camp and had to run the generator each day to charge the batteries.

Q.How much is it to rent the generator?
A.
The generator is $25/day. It is a dual fuel generator meaning it will run off both gasoline and propane. It comes with a full tank of gas and then if you go through that you can hook it to the propane. The generator must be returned with a full tank of unleaded gasoline.
Q.Are there propane charges?
A.
We charge a propane fee for trips longer than 7 days and also for any use over one full tank.
Q.What flexibility is available for picking up and dropping off the RV?
A.
Pick up time during the week is 4:30 pm or after. We are usually available anytime Saturday and Sundays. That said we are willing to try and make whatever we can work. Just ask and we will do our best to accommodate your need.
