No RV road trip is complete without the perfect camp recipe. And lucky for you, Allie D’Andrea, co-founder of Artemis and youtube creator, went on an RV trip and came back with a delicious recipe for your next camping trip or Thanksgiving holiday.
Ingredients
All you need is:
- 4 pheasant breasts
- Olive oil
- 1 medium yellow or white onion
- 1 bell pepper
- 1 jalapeño
- 1-2 cups sliced mushrooms
- 1 avocado
- 1 tomato
- Cilantro
- Taco seasoning
- Salt & pepper
- Flour tortillas
To make the taco seasoning, you just need:
- 1 tablespoon chili powder
- 1 tablespoon ground cumin
- ¼ teaspoon garlic powder
- ¼ teaspoon onion powder
- ½ teaspoon paprika
- 1 teaspoon sea salt
- 1 teaspoon black pepper
How to make
Make pheasant fajita tacos in 6 easy steps:
- Season pheasant with salt and pepper
- Sauté in olive oil until cooked
- Remove pheasant and in the same pan, sauté onion, bell pepper, jalapeño, and mushrooms
- Add pheasant back to the pan and season everything with taco seasoning (add a splash of water if things have dried up)
- Pile everything onto a tortilla
- Top with avocado, tomato, and cilantro
